Hi c Morgan. I have been researching William MORGAN b 1855 as he was connected to my JENKINS family in three ways. One was Williams G Grandson (Edwin's 's Grandson ) married the grand daughter  of my great aunt Miriam Cecile nee (JENKINS )   RICHARDS of Whitton Rosser farm. I can not find out who my g aunts grand daughter, Janet  married. I wonder by any chance if you know. The MORGAN family has such a long history in Llantrithyd and my JENKINS ancestry is just as long in Llantrisant. William Morgan has Jenkins Bloodline back to my 5x g grandfather born 1725. Love this history !

I would like to inform Dai Thomas who posted in 2007  that  I found a Noah THOMAS, a labourer,  at Wern Vawr  farm in Welsh St Donats on the Welsh St Donats Baptism register.  Noah and Mary THOMAS of  Wern Vawr had their daughter Mary baptised on August 11th 1862 Curate Thomas Hughes Jones.     https://search.findmypast.com.au/record/browse?id=gbprs%2fwal%2f4377080%2f00003
My great grandmother's mother, Mary REES lived at Wern Vawr farm 1841 with Cecil REES family. Cecil REES son and daughter  lived Wern Vawr 1851.

Hello Dai. I just came across your comment in Roots chat when i was researching my Great Great grandmother Mary (nee REES) who married David DAVIES in Welsh St Donats. Her marriage certificate of July 1850 stated that she resided at Wern Fawr before her marriage and that her father Thomas REES was a carpenter.  I found out that Wern Fawr Welsh St Donats was a farm from Welldigger blog contact. Mary and her new husband David DAVIES of Pendoylan movedwithin Welsh St Donats to  Ol y Maich (sic) and Caegnew Welsh St Donats. Children were baptised locally by Curate Thomas James Jones. I comment in case you have come across their names, but i doubt it as I found the family without David DAVIES in the 1871 Census Tlreyn (difficult to discern handwriting )  in Llantrisant. I just found it interesting that given Welsh St Donats' small population that i should come across yourself as another descendant of a family in Welsh St Donas.Regards Helen of Brisbane Queensland Australia since 1958 born Cardiff lived Caerwigau Uchaf Pendoylan 1953
