Hi
This is all new to me ,
I have confirmed records back to 1732 with the birth of Thomas Easton at St Clements Danes Westminster....parents Richard Eaton and Anne Bywater married 1731 St Clements Danes.....Richards father I believe is George Eason married Margaret Everard 1706/7 Askes Hospital Chapel....I have a Hannah Eason buried at Bun Hill Fields a known Quaker site father George from St Clements Danes Grandfather John Everard ....A George Eason was born at Dysart Fife 1682 and A Margaret Everard born Dysart Fife 1683 ....George , Richard and Thomas were all peruke makers as was John Everard.
Like everybody else looking to dot the i’s and cross the t’s and help anybody along the way .
Any advise always welcome

Hi James
welcome to Rootschat.
My Eastons were all Thames watermen and all seemed to have married other watermen or the daughters of watermen. My 6x great grandfather William Easton married Alice Rogers in 1719. William was baptised in January 1694 at All Hallows the Great in the City of London, the son of John Easton and Mary whose dates and origins are unknown. I haven't found any connection to your Eastons or to the parish of St Clement Danes.

Hi Carolyn
My name is James Easton ...I have been researching my family for a number of years since getting such a great start from my cousin...we are back to the same period as you and  in the same area . The period that starts to get a little grey is from my Thomas Easton bapt. 1732/33 at St Clements Danes parents Richard and Anne .....then I have Richard Eaton married Anne Bywater 1731 st Clements Danes and George Eason is believed to be Richards father . ( they were all Paruke makers and the parish for them were St Clements Danes) . So according to a geologist I commissioned ,he felt as comfortable as could be , that this was my tree. I have in the 18 th century a lot of association with watermen and lighterman . There is a also strong Easton family that seems to run along side mine that were all watermen ....around the 1770s they married into the Meads and hence forth all the children were  ........ Mead Easton
I hope we have some connections and look forward to your comments
Best regards James
