Thank you for your reply.  I have already seen the links & was in contact with both Mr Fitzgerald & Mr Bone a couple of years ago but for anyone who searching for Fitzgerald's of Clones & hasn't seen their research its well worth a look.

Carole,
With reference to a previous post in which you stated
'Thomasina Ferguson was born in  Malyheahy. Co.Cavan in 1826.  Thomasina's father was Thomas Ferguson, b.1795 Lisnalee. Monaghan.  Her mother was Mary Anne Knight b.1800-1830.
Thomasina had 4 sisters called Catherine Ferguson, Martha Anne Ferguson, Cherry Ann Ferguson and Mary Ann Ferguson.'
Is it possible or do you have any knowledge to indicate that Thomas Ferguson may have married again after his wife Mary Anne Knight died.  I have found an Anne Sloane Ferguson who I believe was married to a Thomas Ferguson & I thought it might be the same man.  I cant confirm a marriage but have seen a possible link in that Thomas Ferguson's death was registered by George F Crowe & Anne Sloane Ferguson was closely linked with a George F Crowe, her cousin (George Fraser Crowe I think!). Regards

Hi Norah,  just to confirm in response to your mention of Anne 'Nannie' Elliott Knight that she was a  niece of my gg grandmother Matilda Jane Fitzgerald (daughter of James Fitzgerald & Elizabeth Young). Nannie Knights mother Anne Fitzgerald was a sister of Matilda Jane, as far as I am aware.

I'm working on a family tree that includes the Knight family of Clones, Monaghan.  Recently whilst adding info re Dr Alexander Knight (son of James Irwin Knight & Anne Willis) born about 1821 at Corcummins, Clones, Monaghan I have come across references to nieces & nephews of Alexander named or from the Riddall family namely John K Riddall, James K Riddall, William Riddall, Margaret Macauley & Anna Ruth Bell.  From my research it appears most of them moved to Canada but I'm not certain its the same family.  If anyone can shed any light on this it would be great. Many thanks.
