Thanks for replying Don. I would be interested in your  citations for this info as my father alway said his great grandmother was Mary Murray Sinclair. I’ve got her living from1839-1936.It would be good to continue by email. I’ve only just joined Rootschat so am not sure how we communicate by email as we don’t reveal that do we?

I wonder if this thread is still going. I was interested in the fact that Andrew Hepburn came to NZ with George Sinclair. Andrew Hepburn is a witness at the marriage of John Wallace and Mary Murray Sinclair in 1861. They named one of their children James Spencer Hepburn Wallace.
