The National Probate Calendar shows that Mary Askam died on the 26 August 1912. She is described as a Widow living at 10 Atwick Road, Hornsea. Her estate was valued at £442 - 14 shillings - 7 pence.
A search of children of the marriage has drawn a blank.
Is it possiable to find out if Mary Askam was statet a widow because Askam was considered dead, or could they have been divorced and she remarried?
