Hi all,

Thanks so much for your help.

Yes it is my wife’s grandmother and we don’t have a copy to my wife’s mother’s birth certificate.

The details of the Mitcham address, Kuline Ave, is correct. This is the right person. Does this lead you anywhere?

Thanks again so much!

Hi,

We don't have a lot of detail on Isabella McMullen.  We believe she is Winifred Mary Partridge's (1923--2006) mother, but not 100% confirmed.
Winifred married in 1945 to William James Cox (1922-1981). I can go a long way back on William's side, but not Winifred's.

Hi All,

I am tracing back my wife's side of the family.  The story goes they came out on the 2nd fleet to Australia (not as convicts), but I have never been able to prove this.

Winifred Mary Partridge (1923-2006) is the starting point.  She was born in Australia and died in Dandenong, Melbourne, Australia.  We think her mother was Isabella McMullen, it is either her mother, or her mothers mother who was on the 2nd fleet, but have hit a dead end.

Any help would be fantastic as it will either prove the story, or finish it.

Hi,
Can anyone go back before Henry Lowe (1823-1911) or Mary Ann Thompson (1837-1914). I seem to have it a dead-end there.
I do know that the son, Thomas A Lowe (1873-1933), married Agnes C Wood (1876-?) how had parents William Wood (1837-1915) and Margaret Taylor (1840-1896), and can go back to James Wood (1810-?) who married Christy?
These are my great x3 grandgathers.
