Hello

Sorry for the lengthy delay in replying

Your information has been a great help in filling holes in this part of my tree. I have no geographical knowledge of the area nor have I your research expertise. I think I have gone as far as I can at the moment in this part of my tree.  One question I have is do you have any information about the Bpt of Margaret Wildy ( about 1700-1705 I think)

You have been more than a little help you have been a great help

Many thanks indeed

Best wishes

Hello

Seeking any information about Margaret Wildy who married Richard Hay  2 January 1723 in Ribbesford

Her Parents were Hicolas Wildy (1640 - 1699) and Margaret Chetwinn married on 26 June 1692 in Ribbesford

Nicholas paernts were William Wildye (d 1676) and Frances.

William Wildye's Father was William Wildy (d 1635)

The only information known about Richard Hay is that his brither was probably Robert Hay (d 1694) and his father was probablyalso  named Richard

Graateful for any information

Hi

Ciderdrinker

Thank you for the information

I , too, had come to the likely conclusion that there were two William Robertsons, thanks for confirming it.

I think that the William Robinson will belongs to another line.
Mine is the William and Jane line . Their Daughter, Mary, married Samuel Martin and moved to Sedgley in the West Midlands dying in 1857.

not sure about your William d 9 1 1788. I have a William d 21 April 1832 of Trench , Wrockwardine.
Though your date could explain why Mary was an only child.

I will see if I can find anything about Mary Robinson 7.1.1762

Thank you for your help, I think it has shown that the William and Jane line is almost certainly the correct one. But as usual one problem solved leads to another one

Thanks again

Best wishes
