Happy New Year to you all.

I am hoping that 2008 will be the year I find out all about my families in Kingston-Upon-Hull,  :D I am researching the following surnames, Jowsey, Lyon and Senior from old and new Malton if anyone is researching these surnames then you know what to do, please get in touch.

Lets hope that 2008 will knock down all those unwanted brick walls.

Hi Carole,
Thomas White bachelor & Mary Gentle spinster both of the parish of South Petherton were  married by banns 24th March 1828. Thomas is living with his wife Mary on the 1841 and 1851 Jane Bowditch is living next door and there is a marriage entry on free bmd for a   Thomas  White &  Jane Bowditch Sept qtr 1861 5c 816. I have found a burial entry for Mary White  June 19 1851 aged 45.

here are the white baptisms from 1842-1881
South Petherton Baptism’s for surname White you will find two entry for Thomas and Jane, i did not find a marriage entry at South petherton but if you look on free bmd you will find one at Bath and the other at Yeovil.

sorry about that it was a mistake on my part, it should have read as follows.

Baptism.
Entry number 145 page 19.
1817 March 02 Mary daughter of Charles & Elizabeth Burford of South Petherton labourer.

If i can help you in any other look-ups please dont hesitate to get back in touch.

As a matter of interest i have the surname of Burford from Corfe as well as South Petherton, but as yet i have not found any link between them.
