Hi, I instigated this thread so would li like to say that I now live in York.  The dairy shop was in Queen's Street (now demolished). I spent many glorious moments there from the age of 4 smoking woodbines with my Grandmother Bridget Mahon.  She also taught me at a young age to drink guiness. The best person to speak to is Mike Mahon who is still living and Dublin and knows so much.

Yes indeed they were my grandparents.  How clever of you to have traced all of this.  I am so trying to find any cousins of mine who may still be in Ireland.

My grandma was Michael Mahon born around 1887, son of William and Anne Mahon. His brother was James born around 1891 and his sister Alice, born around 1895.  Are there any of my relations out there?
