Antrim / Re: Parker Family, Templepatrick
« on: Saturday 05 October 24 20:09 BST (UK)  »
The earliest member of the family which I know of, was a Rebecca Parker, born: c1655, who married James Bigger. There is also a Robert Parker, (1704-99) married Jannet ? . Robert had a brother, Thomas (born: c1711) who married Rebecca Bigger. I'm not sure if there is any past military connection, though the Parker's seem to have resided in the Parish of Templepatrick for centuries.

Has anyone researched this family as far back as the late eighteenth century (ie: 1700's)? Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

My distant relative, James McBride (b: 1882) married Marion McKenzie in 1909. They had two sons:
James Henderson McBride (b: 1909) and Noel McBride (b: 1910), both in Drumbeg. Does anyone know about the lives and possible descendants of James or Noel?

Thanks Les. I was aware of Eileen (born 1947), so this has helped me take things a stage further. Please keep in touch, as this family tree goes back to the late 17th century, and includes thousands of individuals. I appreciate any help you can give me, and will be happy to share my knowledge as well.

My distant relative, Margaret Girvan married Thomas McKeown in 1746 (Source: Wm F McKinney's Family Notebook). I'd like to know if they had any descendants, so if anyone is researching this line, I'd be glad to hear from you.
