Thak you very much.  I am headed to Amersfoort later this year and am hoping to go through some of these streets where my ancestors lived.

Other Countries / Help with a street in Amersfoort Netherlands

I have found a population registration from April 23, 1848 from Amersfoort that shows my family living at E308.  I was hoping that someone could tell me what this means or direct me to where I could find out the street.

I have attached a photo of the relevant section.

Thanks

Galway / Deciphering town name in Galway Ireland
« on: Friday 16 July 21 08:32 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Hoping someone can tell me the name of the town in in County Galway where my great grandfather was born.  The closest I can get is Kilimar but can't find any town by that name.  I have a possible birth record for the parish of Cummer but can't find any town similar.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Jorose.  Yes Joseph died in Sydney in 1854.  Thank you for all your help I will now follow up on all this.

No he went to South Africa and then on to Australia.  We think he was married Eleanor Mabel Millicent Kennedy (Millie) in Burnie but we can't find any record of it.  We do have his naturalisation papers which give his date and place of birth but nothing else.
