Since there was no French Church in the 1570s-1580s, could my ancestors have been members of one of the "regular" churches in Dover? Are these registers accessible as well?

Hello everyone,
I have been working on the De la Mer (van der Zee) family, following the family backwards in time from Utrecht to Canterbury. I am a direct descendant (14 generations) of the so-called Strangers Michel de la Mer and Marie Druon. Michel de la Mer was first mentioned in the baptism of Lea de la Motte – her father Andrien being Michel’s brother in law - 22 October 1581 (English date) in Canterbury as a witness. It has been suggested to research the possibility that the family travelled from Dover to Canterbury. Does anyone have access to a transcription of the registers of the French Church in Dover?

Interesting, my wife is in 8 generations a direct descendant of Donald Robertson and Agnes Coutts.

Interesting, my wife is in 8 generations a direct descendant of Donald Robertson and Agnes Coutts. As far as I can tell officers bearing the name of Coutts were not uncommon among the officers of the Scots Brigade in Holland.
