Antrim / Mariah Davison of Carnlough

Hi everyone,
I have hit an early brick wall regarding my genealogical research.

My great grandmother is Mariah Davison who married Michael Davin in Carnlough around the early 1920s, my grandmother and her siblings have all past away and no one in the family knows anything about this side of the family as my grandmothers parents past away when she was very young. Is there anyone in the Glens area who might know or could advise on where to start searching!

Many thanks

Down / Quinn's of Loughlinisland
« on: Saturday 03 June 17 19:13 BST (UK)  »
Hi everyone,

I have traced my grandfathers family from County Antrim to Rossconor, Loughlinisland.

My great grandfather was William Bernard Quinn who moved from Rossconor to Waterfoot, Glenariffe sometime between 1911 and 1926. There was another William Quinn around the same time in Rossconor according to the 1911 census but William Bernard Quinn had a sister called Monica and my grandfather has mentioned an aunt called Mona, so I am assuming that I have the right William Quinn.

His parents were Hugh and Caroline Quinn née Rice of Rossconor.
Hugh's parents were William and Amelia Quinn née Fitzpatrick.

Caroline Quinn is proving difficult to trace, the only birth record for a Caroline Rice that I have been able to find in the year that matches her age in the 1901 census is for a Caroline Rice in Tipperary.

If anyone has any information on where it would be possible to find Parish records in Rossconor or any cemetery that they might be buried in, or any related information, please may I ask if you could please respond.

Best Wishes,

Ryan

Antrim / Re: Maxwell family in Upper Glenarm Barony

Hi Tory,
I believe Arthur and Mary are my great great great great grandparents, they have a son called James who married Sarah Magill. Sarah and James had a son called Charles Maxwell who married Margaret McRandle, they appear in the 1901 census for Mission Lane in Larne where they are living in the home of their son Daniel.

Best Wishes
