Durham Lookup Requests / Re: Absent Voters' Lists (1918) - Great War
« on: Thursday 31 December 09 15:32 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Michael,

I did eventually obtain the information I needed (I paid a genealogist to obtain the details from Durham Record Office). The absent voters list gave me my Great Grandfathers WW1 service details.

Thanks for asking anyway!

Regards - Paul.

Hi Thanks for your help. The 1900 census has not given any clues. Pasquale and Maria only ever had one son Cosmo - this eliminates Pasquale and Mary. Thanks for trying.

Regards,
Paul.

Hi I'm looking for my 3x Great Grandparents. Pasquale Rocchio born 1851 Gallo Caserta Italy and his wife Maria Cannelora Rocchio born 1853 Gallo Caserta Italy. They resided in New York in 1897 and I suspect died in New York. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards Paul.

Warwickshire Lookup Requests / Burial Lookup Please
« on: Friday 10 October 08 22:30 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I'm looking for the death of John Smith born about 1799 Birmingham. He appears on the 1871 census but not on the 1881 census. I have concluded that he may have died. John was a Silversmith / Jeweler. John was living in the St George Parish area in Birmingham during the 1871 census.

I have tried the GRO for Birmingham but as you can imagine there are many John Smith's.

If some kind person can help it would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Paul.
