There is another Marriage index that complements Boyds, used together they have an almost complete coverage for Essex between 1754 and 1851, the Jack Baxter marriage index can only be seen at the Society of Genealogists or the Essex Record Office, for details of coverage see: http://sturnidae.com/Essex/Marriages.htm

You should find that your subscription has been credited for any time that Seax was down.

The good news is that the update of Seax will begin this month and be completed by mid December, also the Waltham Forest area register's are going to by added in 2013.

Have you looked for the marriage of daughter Phyllis? She would have married around 1913/20 and may tell you if William is deceased or he may be a witness. He may have been at sea in 1901 and 1911.

Hi,
The Marriage that you are looking for between James Wright, and Ann Cornhill, was at St John, Hackney, on 30 January 1837, by banns, no parents names are given, the witnesses were Richard Dodson, and Mary Wright, also you can see the Chingford parish records for St. Peter & St Paul, at the Vestry House Museum, Walthamstow.

Going by the route the Enumerator took the most likely place for the Fishery would have been were the reservoir is now by the now junction of Waltham Way and Brindwood Road.

Try contacting the Chingford History Society at  www.chingfordhistory.org.uk  they should know.

Hi, The correct address is: Forest Lodge, Dames Road, off Cann Hall Road.

What are the addresses on the Death Certificate for the place of death, and the address of the informant? You may find her on the 1891 Census there.

Hi Ashley,

Assuming that you mean Stratford in east London, a good place to look would be St. Mary, Stratford Le Bow...  The Parish Records are available on Ancestry in the Tower Hamlets Index, good luck.
