Stirlingshire / Lennox Castle Hospital, Near Glasgow, in Stirlingshire

Looking for Katherine Vera Boyd who gave birth in this hospital in June 1950.
I'm told it was perhaps some sort of mental institution, but birth record doesn't show this.
Any information about the hospital would be appreciated, in particular if there are any records to be had.

Family History Beginners Board / Scotland Electoral Roll 1832

I was looking up a Scotish electoral register from around 1832 and against the column” Calling" it had the initial W.S.  Some names had their profession, but a few just had W.S.
I can’t work out what it means I have tried looking on line but no Luck.
Any ideas ?

Could someone decipher the handwriting on this medical record for my ancestor, in particular the last columns - Diseases, Treatment and Observations?

But it also seems strange that he was sentenced to Life for Housebreaking & stealing a Crown piece (5 shillings?) while she was given 10 years for stealing clothes worth 15 pounds.
He was tried in Somerset, & she at the Old Bailey.
