I am having problems accessing my complete tree at present, will have a good look at my written notes tomorrow and be in touch. It is obviously the same family but different descendants. Sue

I lost Francis around 1891 she was single then and lived in Norwich St Peter. However you have rekindled my interest so I will have a look at the 1901.
The father Charles was in the Gressenhall workhouse. I hadn't reralised Charles jnr  and Ann moved to Lancashire. That is where Keziah ended up( in Bacup )I will have a look later if I get chance. As usual this branch of my family has been neglected for a while, although I spent some time in Norwich last year looking for the Gee side of the family.

Thanks PP Yes I did find this and in fact have visited the workhouse recently but the records dont exist from that time apparently. He had a sister too. Charles later turns up married about 1881 I think although without looking at the records I have- I can't remember where. But lets hope there was a happy ending. Sue

Yes as you say. Lots of questions. The Church Records are on the premises at N S and the gravestones in place so I enjoyed visiting there. In the pub there was a picture of a family (the Licensee) around the time of Maria. Not labelled unfortunatly.

My Maria Chinn came from Stafford, Wolsey Bridge.
Was married from Sandon Staffordshire to William Eaton on 7 th April 1830.
She died in 1900 on 2 Sep and is buried in St Mary's Church Newton Solney where she had lived all her married life. She had 7 children I am descended from one of them -George Eaton who eventually moved to Rochdale Lancashire.
At one time Maria & William were the Licensee 's at The Unicorn Inn in NS although William was also a farmer. I do have more details about the Eatons but not too many about the Chinns.Hope that helps.

I notice that your web name is Chinn . Is this any indication of your family name. I am descended from a Maria Chinn who was married to William Eaton I do have information about this couple.
