Hi Carole
Thank you for your reply to my enquiry.
My family name is MYERS.
It turns out that Mary MEGSON GARTON is my G. G. Mother on my fathers side, Polly's mother.
According to the 1891 she was born in Beverley circa 1866.

Hi All
Please forgive me but I am trying in trace any Megson or Garton living within the Holderness area between the mid 19th and 20th century who may have a connection to the Myers family.
My Father (Albert William) was born to John Robert and Pollie (Boyd) in Garton in Holderness on the 13th May 1913.

Thank you one and all, but it’s the time between 1910 and his demise.

Eli was born was born in Wyke near Bradford West Yorkshire in the September Quarter of 1875 (9 6).
On the 6th of October 1900 he married after banns at Helme Parish Church at the age of 23 to Sarah Ellen Jacobs (Spinster) aged 22. However on the 27th of December 1910 Sarah Ellen marries again as Sarah Ellen Jacobs (Spinster) aged 33 to George Brown. Between the two marriages I have up to this point found no further mention of Eli. It wasn't until I found a Eli George Farley's death registered in Bury St Edmonds (4b 1071) in 1954 at the age of 78 which matched with his birth year bar 12 months or so.

If anyone can throw any light on Eli's life between his first marriage and his demise in 1954 I would be most grateful.

Hi Everyone

I'm needing help in finding a D OLDFIELD who flew from London to Perth 1960's. At the time he was almost 25 years of age and unaccompanied and single. He had recently graduated as a Chemist and was en-route to Melbourne to be employed by Defence Standards Laboratories. It is believed that he may have at some time later married and again later in life moved to Queensland.

Any information however vague would be most appreciated.

Hi Gillian
I think I must now put this leg of the family to bed. I have some 400 plus entries in my family tree and  I need to research closer relatives. However if you do find further information that would bring that leg right into the 21st century it would be most appreciated. I will leave the page open for anyone to see.

Best Regards
Jim
