When I was a young boy I used to play in the old Cemetery and I remember what it looked like then. The grave stones were still standing and I remember the Covenanters graves. This was in the late 40's and early 50's
I went back there 2 years ago and I almost cried, there was nothing left but the Duke of Hamiltons mosoleum.
There were no fences and the cows had free access. What a shame and a loss of our heritage
