roch: seems german in origin.

valentine: could be walenty.

you need to know the town, village these folks came from. otherwise getting hold of records becomes very difficult.

Dymitr Gawryluk married Akulina Tereszczuk,  son named Teodor born 1913  in Ratno/Rokice/ Rokita,Kowel Wolyn, Poland

This was Poland, but is now Ukraine.

You should still be able to find Polish (web) links that offer information.

this may help, but it's in Polish. http://www.wolyn.ovh.org/

Can you tell me where you found the Derz names?

I have tested this with my family and it's pretty much up to date.

Hello,

There are 15 people with the name Derz in Poland. They all live in the same area: Wejherowo, Puck, Gdansk.

There is at least one person on Facebook with the same name and coming from Poland.

I give this info because it's on the web and may help in some way.

Europe / Re: Antone Unger - Lithuania

I've searched other family research sites, and have had no luck in finding any "Unger" relations. I know that the last name may have been changed upon arrival to Canada from "Ungeritis" to "Unger".

hi,
have you been to JewishGen. They have a database for Lithuania and in it ''Unger'' with other variations.

Gosia: is the short form of Małgorzata. (u missed out the z)
