Hi sorry

Ref my previous post I put the wrong name.

It was Henry Axon and his wife Sarah Elizabeth who I think had the Clarence pub in Ashton on Old Cross Street, and John Axon was their son born 1912.

I would appreciate any history

Thankyou

Hi can anyone please help with any history re the Clarence a Hotel in Ashton, formerly known as the Boars Head.
I think my grandad John Axon and Sarah Elizabeth at some time ran the hotel.

Many thanks

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how I can contact the Registra General of Shipping and Seamen or Maritime Coast Guard Agency.

I have phone the National Archives who were  unable to point me in the right direction.

I'm wanting to claim any medals for John Axon on behalf of his son also named John Axon.
He was in the merchant navy from 1944 to 1949.

I have already gained some paperwork all thanks to Seaweed, which is the CR1 and CRS10 but unfortunatly seem to be going around in a circle and so far havn't been able to move it on.

Many thanks juelladeville
