Hi I wonder if any one could help me. After contacting the Mitchell Library about various relatives buried at St Kentigerns Cemetery, In December we made the pilgrimage from England to the cemetery armed with grave sections and numbers and expected to be led straight to each grave. How wrong was I when we realised that there was no one to ask for help. After 3 hours in the freezing cold we left and returned 2 days later.it was minus 3 degrees with freezing fog but I was determined to find the grave of my mums baby brother and sister who died age 5 and 9 months. They were buried together but had no head stone. Hours later I think possible found found where they might be buried and laid a memorial plaque. I then tried to locate my Grandmother but was unable to as again there was no headstone. I did try to look at numbers of other graves but it was pointless.
My mum has an uncle, aunt and grandparents who were buried together in section 1 with a large cross memorial with names on but I could not find this for love nor money.
Something is pulling me back to the cemetery and I have vowed to go back next summer but I know I will come up against the same problems and wondered if any one can help me at all.
I have tried looking on the memento-more website but their names are not there.
