Hi Paulinemackie

Thank you for replying to my message. I have managed to get my grandas death certificate and it says he died from TB. I have spoke to my mam again and she said all she knows is that he was in hospital for a year before he died. And the last memories she had was she was taken to the hospital to say goodbye when she was 3 years old and she had to see him though a window cause she wasn't aloud in and he waved to her and told her he loved her. After that my mam was brought up by her grandparents on her mams side. She has gone all her life wanting to know about her dad all she has is 1 photo of him in uniform. So she was over the moon when I told her you had replied. James william wigham is buried in tudhoe cemetery in Spennymoor and the hospital which he died was wolsingham sanatorium in 1954. My parents and me and my sister all live in Spennymoor country durham.

I know he lived in fishermans cottage willington with his parents Ellen Stelling and John wigham and his brothers and sisters. If anyone has any information I would really would really appreciate it. My mam has always wanted to know about her dad's family thanks.
