Not sure about the side by side thingo.  My 2nd great grandfather was Irish and I did have a percentage of Irish prior to this new side by side but now it has gone completely? But I guess its early days so will stay with it.

Thank you for all of the above but I've investigated all those avenues. Will have to do some lateral thinking.
Thank you for all the replies.

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Ann Powell and David Evans

I am looking for the birth of Ann Powell. She married David Evans in 1908. Their place of residence was Ystradgynlais and her father was James Powell a collier. I would like to know both parents names. Prior to her marriage a daughter Blodwen was born c1904.
Would appreciate any help.

Hertfordshire / Re: WARWICK Family in Hertfordshire

Hi, my grandmother was Ethel May Warrick who was the granddaughter of Stephen Warrick who was born in Furneaux Pelham. His parents were James Warwick and Ann Hardy. The surname was spelled Warrick when Stephen moved across to Wales after the death of his father and remarriage of his mother.
Does anyone have any info on earlier Warwicks who went to Virginia in the USA in period 1600-1700s. I have dna matches to people in USA with links to a Warwick ancestor but parentage is unclear.
Cheers Pamela

Sideview totally ridiculous. I've lost my Irish dna despite having large amount prior. My son has Scottish now on both sides despite none showing up in mine. My Welsh has gone down despite having 2 grandfathers who were100% Welsh and 1 grandmother likewise and other mix of Irish and Welsh.

Monmouthshire Lookup Requests / Re: Lewis family Bedwelty/Tredegar

Hi Kay, thank you for replying and have added that to my tree. However, cannot find their marriage and Johanna seems to disappear from census records until after she married Edward Pugh. Cannot even find her 2nd marriage record.  Also, you correctly point out that Ann is not with them in 1851. Quite a mystery. They may have been non conformist although have checked records available on Ancestry.

Trying to find the birth details of Ann Lewis (born c1848). On her marriage certificate to George Carey (1842-1923) her father is mentioned as being Lewis Lewis (deceased) but cannot find marriage for him.  Her mother's name was Johanna (born c1830) who married Edward Pugh after Lewis Lewis died. I would be grateful for any information as I am trying to trace my maternal line. This is my brick wall.

Hi Martin and Shirley, if you are still out there.  I can confirm that Stephen Warrick never returned to Furneaux Pelham and neither did his brother. Cheers  Pamela
