Chris,

John Tredwell was Mary Ann's second husband - I knew that someone by the name of Beach had been her first husband but had no other details till this.

Many thanks yet again,

 ;D  Gloria

Chris,

As ever, what can I say?  You have been of great help.
Yes, I would appreciate a picture of Gravestone No. 531 (Mary Ann Treadwell - St. John Sub Castro).

Many thanks yet once more - the work you put in is fantastic.

Best wishes,

Gloria  ;D

Hi Chris,

Hope you enjoyed your holiday - I'm a big fan of Bath - the Roman remains are fascinating.

Many thanks for your help with the 1840 census - it's been an enormous help.    ;D

 Best wishes,

Gloria

Chris,

I really must check this site more often - thank you so much for your help and sorry for the delay in responding...

Could you give the the details of what info you have on the Tredwells listed in the 1841 census for Chailey?

Gloria :)

Hi Chris,

Would be very grateful for details of any transcriptions of Tredwell/Treadwell's to be found in Lewes (from 1840 to about 1880).  Can't be definite about which parish in Lewes though   ;)

Many thanks and keep up the good work.  Your fame has spread - I'm researching from Ireland.

Heidi

Hiya all,

Looking for any info on Tredwell family living from 1780's in Chailey.  From mid 1850's most of family appeared to have moved to nearby Lewes.

Looking in particular for any info on Ann Tredwell, born in 1849 in Lewes.  She married Walter William Coombes in 1875 in St. Thomas in Lewes.  Also interested in any details of her parents George and Elizabeth Tredwell from Chailey.
