Hello, this is my first time, I hope I do this correctly.  We have got to be referring to the same Christopher Riley because the memorial inscription you and I  referred to has 3 people who match my family records exactly.  He is the son of Robert who is the son of George Riley and Elizabeth Taylor, at least from my records. I am a direct descendant of Robert's brother Edward or Edmund. Edward's grandson George Riley immigrated to Utah in the 1850's after joining the LDS church.  My father, George's great grandson was raised in the same small town, Beaver Utah.  The latter George Riley, married Jane Taylor prior to leaving Haslingden, and she later identified over 90 of her and his relatives and ancestors in her records.  Please respond.

I see references to the memorial inscription of Robert and Christopher Riley, not to mention Betty.  I have digitized the Haslingden Memorial Inscriptions from microfiche and have isolated this one, if anyone is interested.  And I am curious as to the reason of the discussion.  Anyone else related to them besides me?
