Looking to trace the ancestors of Mary Moriarty (b. 17 March 1889, Tralee, Kerry- 1982, NZ). Her Father and Mother were Michael Moriarty and Ellen McCarthy. I've hit a block wall beyond that.  :)

I have found 3 Playles that served for the Union. William T. Playle (22nd Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps); Francis M. Playle (33rd Iowa Infantry- died May 23, 1864, Princeton, Dallas County, Arkansas); and William H. Playle (42nd Regiment, Missouri Infantry).
How do I find out when a Playle or Playles first stepped on a boat to emigrate to the USA? :)

My surname interest is PLAYLE. Have traced back to my gg grandfather, William Playle (b.1857), who was married to Polly Playle. His father was a William Playle married to Eliza. Can't get much beyond that. :)

Hi there. Looking to trace the ancestors of Florence Ohlson (don't know her maiden name). She was married to Albert Ohlson (engineer?, worked for NZ railways, at one time they lived in Mangakino). They ended up living in Milford, Auckland. She died in 1992(?) :)

I'm researching Arthur Edward Playle. Born in Thundersley, Essex 1900/01/02(?) came out to NZ and was married to a Mary Moriarty of Kerry, Ireland. He died 1978 (?) Who were his parents/grand-parents/great-grandparents?
