Waterford / Re: Waterford WW1 lookups available
« on: Friday 27 May 11 16:32 BST (UK)  »
I am searching for my husband's uncle James Collins born Sleive kiel Waterford 1897.  He died August 1914.  He joined up underage and was killed three days before his 17th birthday.  Hope you can help, we have had no luck so far.  Kind regards

Canada Lookup Request / Re: will I ever find out about Rose?
« on: Monday 23 February 09 14:36 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you for your comments. i realy think I have taken this as far as I can.  Rose had no siblings, no
children and all I have is a name which may or may not be Rus and they would not be my family anyway, so I just have to accept that the family Blower are all laid to rest.  I thank all of you who have tried to help me.  It is good to know there are so many willing to help.

                                                   kindest regards Molly

Rose would not be on the 1911 census because the family did not emigrate to Canada until the middle to late thirties.  Thanks again

Thank you so much for trying to help.  Rose's maiden name was Blower.  I obtained the name Rus from the notification of her mothers death (Rose Rus daughter).  As there is no family left I think I have gone as far as I can.

                                                     regards Molly

Thank you so much for your messages  Rose Blower was born in England in 1912, she had no siblings
I did make enquiries some time ago and emailed about five people named Rus, i only had one answer
and they did not appear to have any connection.  I do have information about Thomas and Elizabeth
Blower burial details but Rose remains a mystery.  thanks once again for trying.

Thank you all for your helpful replies I don't know if I should reply to each one personally forgive me
if I should.  I do know when my g/gfather was Christened and that he had a brother William what I reallly wanted was to find them in 1841 to see if my gg/father Joseph was alive then.
