Hello

I have come across a message you posted MANY years ago - about your Burger/Van der Merwe side of your family tree.
I have found info which you might be interested in but don't know if you are still researching?

Please let me know if you'd like some information still.

Regards

Yes, from what I've gleaned from somebody else's research - this is the Patrick in question whose mother is noted as "McCarland" in that person's tree.
Do you think it's the same Patrick of 1911 census Tandragee? A brother to James in Tandragee?

The James of 1911 census with wife Lizzie is the James in question.

The Patrick of 1911 census is a son of the Patrick I'm wondering about.
Patrick (the father in the census) aged 39 in 1911

Any info I could receive to solve my little puzzle would be greatly appreciated.
If I can tie up Patrick and Mary in the 1911 Census (at 54 Market Street Tandragee) with James and Lizzie it would take my research to new heights :-)

Thank you to everyone for your quick replies

Hi, what makes you think Patrick's/James's mother's name could be McParland, please?

Hello - I'm trying to find if 2 particular Campbell families were related.
One is Patrick, with a wife, Mary - 1911 Irish Census shows them with their children living in Tandragee.
The other person is James Campbell whose wife was a Lizzie Nugent. They are also showing in the 1911 Census.

I think James's parents were John and his wife, Mary McFarland.
Possibly Patrick's parents were John and his wife Mary McCarland.

I'm wondering if there was a spelling error and these are the same parents to Patrick and James making them brothers?

Many thanks for any help.
