Looking for any info on the above both Inverness, Jane bn 1824-1826 and John c1819.

Married 1844 Inverness.

Children Thomas 1845 Inverness according to the 1911 census.

I think there is a daughter Mary Brown Williamson 1855 Inverness.  So while looking for info on Jane, I did come across poss parents Joseph & Mary Brown

Anyone with these names?

Hi - I have these names :-)

John Williamson, born 1814 in Inverness to Thomas Williamson & Margaret Grant, married Jane Chisholm, born 1824 in Beauly. They married in Inverness in1844, at the same time as their respective sister & brother married each other! Jane (aka Jean) Chisholm's parents were Joseph Chisholm & Mary Brown.

I have more info on both these families, but am most looking into finding out what happened to John Williamson's sisters - Jean (b.1812), Mary (b.1823), Margaret (b.1826) & Hannah (b.1829). I'm directly related to his other sister Delicia (b.1818) - anyone have any info?

Thanks!

Wendy

Hi, new to this forum, so hope this is how to do it!

I have some info on David Isaac and Sophia Mathieson / Matthewson, who married in 1814 - the marriage was registered in both Dysart &Wemyss as respective parishes. They went on to have at least 10 children, one of whom was also named David Isaac - he is the one I'm most interested in. He married Ann Bell in Kinghorn in 1850.

Sophia Isaac ms Mathewson was born in 1791 in Kilconquar, and died in Kinghorn in 1869. She was widowed by 1851 - I have no details of what happened to her husband - indeed, he is our family mystery! Various rumours as to where he originally came from as the earliest record we have is his marriage in 1814. I do know he was living at Prinlaws, Leslie in 1835.

Would love to know if anyone has more info on the Isaacs or Matthewsons!

Wendy
