Hi.  I hope this conversation is still on-going.  I am related to Hugh Fox from Ballinamore, Leitrim.  He probably is another Hugh Fox, not the one mentioned earlier.  His father was Michael.  My Michael had a daughter, May or Mary or Mary Ann, depending on what document you are looking at.  She married James McTague and they had a son Patrick who came to Providence, Rhode Island and married Bridget Rynn.  Bridget was from Mohill, Leitrim, Ireland. That family settled in Connecticut.  I think the families from the other posts and mine are related but I can't prove it.  My Hugh Fox was born January, 1839.  He married Ellen Smith from Glebe (at least that is what it looks like) in Leitrim.  They married in the Roman Catholic Chapel of Ballinamore. Hugh and Ellen and their family came to Providence, Rhode Island between 1883 and 1889.  I would love to hear from anyone who may be related to this family.
