I think it could be Ivy Jones the capitals are slightly different and the O in 'Joy' looks like a V.

Does the one with the three gents need to be flipped ?
Just going by the way the waistcoats are fastened.

I thought that her attire was quite dressy to be wearing 3/4 sleeves without gloves.
The positioning of her left hand (fingers) looks odd. I wondered if she was holding something sparkly with a ray of light catching it ? Or maybe just a trick of the light  :-\

I thought that she looked to be wearing thin dark gloves. Especially her left hand. They look very dark compared to her face even allowing for shadow. So you would not see a wedding ring.
A lovely photo Caz.

Hi there, how about the Severn valley from Coaley Peak ?
Just going on the lie of the land, and a gentler slope than Sutton Bank. You can get the same view from Google Earth and some on Trip Adviser, but I'm not sure that I can use the images.
The fields and trees have changed of course. That is assuming it is the same place !

Hi, have you tried the 'friends of burngreave' website ? You can email them and they may be able to tell you if there is a headstone or not.
From the 'Indexers' site, I take 'removed from parish' to mean that the person did not die in the parish which they are buried, be it a parish in Sheffield or elsewhere. You can search the term on that site too.
I hope this helps a little. I will send you pm too🙂

Could they be in mourning Jen ? The dark dress and beads made me think this.
Does this help with your dating ?
