I have seen the originals from St. Johnston Church. My dad got them for me to look at a few years ago. The writing is incredibly difficult to make out. The unknown isWilliam John. That ties in with my dates. Mary is also known as Ester and sometimes Hester. I'm not sure why her name changes so much but it can be confusing. The Craig is part of momeen sometimes referred to as momeen Craig in maps. You can also some parts of the Graham family referred to as coming from Drumdonagh which is the old name for lower Ardagh.

That could well be. I do have a Maria married to a William Vance but had no other information about her so many thanks.o other thing you may be able to clear up for me, I have Ester and Jane as two separate people on my tree with two separate baptism dates. Ester was baptised on 7.3.1870 and Jane on 4.12.1865. There is a possibility that Jane died and and Ester was then named Ester Jane as a result but I have no record of a death. Any ideas?

Thanks, I have most of that already. There are a few things I am trying to verify though and many someone will know the answers. I have a Maria Graham who had at least two children, one of which went to America. I haven't been able to find any verification for her other than family members who can't give me exact details. They think she was the sister of Jane Graham who married John Graham. Has anyone else got her or knows if she fits in somewhere else.
Thanks

Hi. I have just joined and was excited to see this. I live in Ireland and am a direct of John and Jane Graham. Jane was a sister of Esters husband William and my maiden name was Graham. I lived in the same area until my marriage 20 yrs ago. I have recently been working on the family tree and found out about fanny and her sister going to Australia.the son Moses inherited the farm and his descendants still live there.would love to swap stories.
