Hi Sally_Maria,

I'm a descendant of the Moon families in Polscoe/St. Winnow. My Great grandmother was Catherine Moon, her father was Arthur Moon.
There was a very large laundry in St.Blazey, which is not far from Polscoe at all. The laundry was owned by the Moon family, but I think it was the brother to my GG Grandfather Arthur.
The laundry was very successful, but the site where the landry stood was demolished around 15 years ago (guesswork!) to be replaced by a housing estate.
One of the streetnames in the estate is called 'Aberdeen Road' as the laundry was called 'Moon's Aberdeen Laundry' due to the wife being Scottish and from Aberdeen.

Moon family members still live in the Lostiwthiel/St.Blazey area today.
