« on: Sunday 28 July 13 16:20 BST (UK)  »
Hi
My GGG Grandfather was William Heazle born 1822 Bantry, Cork. I wondered if we have any family connections. The only info I have on William is his birth, death and Marriage to Mary ???.
My GG Grandfather was Richard Heazle married to Margaret Goggin. If you can help in any way that would be great.

Kind Regards
Denise Hazell

Hello, I'm sorry, I did not find the names of Richard and Margaret or William and Mary in my database

Cork / Henry Heazle et Martha ??? mariage

I would like to find some proof of the wedding of Henry Heazle et Martha ???: date, place and parents of each of them. I think the only way to identify the right couple is to start with the fact that he was a BARBER so written on the wedding certificate

Henry Heazle was born in Ireland near 1781 (maybe in Ballymodan, Bandon Cork). When he left the 5e of Foot army in august 1810, he became a barber  in his  home on Boyle St. in Bandon.

He married Martha?? , Date unknown (before 1817). Thomas, their first child was born February 23, 1817 at Ballymodan, Bandon, Co Cork.

I found this: Henry Heazle  and Martha Abbott m. in Co Cork but I have no details of the wedding. Are they my great-great-great-grandparents?

Thank you for your help

Bandon is a city of Ireland in the county of Cork. We found nothing to Bandon about the death of Maria Burchill. I have Benjamin's death certificate (son), and the name of the parents is not registered. I searched  to the National Archives of Quebec over several years after Benjamin's birth, in case the baptism would have taken place years later, and I found nothing.

Than you for your help

I look for the date and place of Maria Burchill's death.

She married,at the age of 32 years (widow), Benjamin Heazle (23) on January 20th, 1853 at Saint Peters United Church of the Ballymodan Parish in Bandon.

She died before April 4th, 1860 wedding date in St-George, Bermuda, of Benjamin Heazle with Ann Evans.

Benjamin joined the 39th Regiment of Foot of the British army in 1854. He was in Crimea in 1855-56, in Montreal (Quebec, Canada) from 1856 till 1959 and in Bermuda from 1860 till 1865.

I do not know if Maria followed the Regiment. I did not find her decease in Quebec.

The date of decease would allow to find who is the mother of the son Benjamin been born on April 10th, 1858in Montreal. We do not find the certificate of Benjamin's christening jr and the name of his parents is not mentioned on his wedding certificate.

Thank you

Thank you Audrey for your quick answer. You are probably right, the period does not correspond.

I hoped that Henry Heazle who is registered in Directory Pigot of 1824 and  1846 as merchant on the Main Street of Bandon is the answer to my researches.

Hello
Some time ago, I applied on this forum to find Benjamin Heazle's parents.  Since this time, thanks to the Bermuda's forum, I know the date of his mariage and the name of his father : Harry or Henry Heazle.

I would like to find the date of birth of Benjamin and his mother's name.  Benjamin was born in 1829 in Bandon.

Had Benjamin brothers and sisters ?

Did his parents get married in Bandon ?

Thanks for you help
