Devon / Evelyn Cecilia STEVENSON d 1913 Newton Abbot
« on: Saturday 02 August 25 05:29 BST (UK)  »
Evelyn Cecilia Stevenson was born on 4 December 1889, Edmonton, Middlesex, England to Maud Mary Stevenson nee Haycroft and William Henry Stevenson.

Familysearch has a death for her on 14 August 1913, Newton Abbot, Devon.
Beneficiary's of her Will are her Mother Maud Mary BEARNE and her Step-father Cuthbert Symons BEARNE.

Evelyn has an older sister Gwendoline Maud Stevenson, born June Q 1887, Edmonton, Middlesex who married Arnold C BERETTA in 1912 in Islington, London.  A son Arnold S Beretta was born on 15 April 1915 Pancras.  He married in 1950 to Catherine G Cairns [d 2004] and died in 1986, Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Would like to know where Evelyn Cecilia Stevenson is buried and if there was a death notice?

Any assistance appreciated.

Looking for information or advice on avenues for further research as live in NZ, re Aishton/Ashton Haycroft.  Name in England 1861 census is Haycross.

A Haycroft appears on Crew/Passenger List for 'Iron Duke', Liverpool to Sydney, NSW, Australia arriving on 12 April 1876 - Apprentice.

A Haycroft deserted 'Iron Duke' on 21 September 1876 at San Francisco.

In reference to the 3rd photo added by Lucy2

I haven't done much research on this family, however from my Taylor family notes;
'J Taylor' is James Taylor who died in 1932 age 47 years.
In his obituary published in the Evening Post on 20 August 1932, it states that he assisted his brother-in-law “Dorrie” Leslie with massage work as part of the All Blacks training prior to the third test against the Springboks [at Athletic Park on 17 September 1921.  The score was 0-0.  Athletic Park resembled a lake due to heavy rain].

James officially accompanied the All Blacks to Australia in 1929.

Thanks ShaunJ.
Interesting re year of birth as the WW1 Hospital Admission and Discharge records (National Archives MH106/210), admission date 18 August 1915 to the 149th Field Ambulance gives his year of birth as 1879 - good to now have correct info.

Thanks
