Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 census lookup Hook Norton please

Myfi - this is tremendous!  Thank you.  Jenny (Jane) is my direct ancestor.  She and James Pratt were in Brailes Warwickshire in 1841 but she stated not born that county.

The marriage and burial entries are great.  I had given up on Dinah!  Witnesses at Dinah's wedding Thomas Bryham and Sarah Bryham are, I believe, also direct ancestors of mine.  Thomas BRYAN and Sarah BRYAN who were also in Brailes in 1841.

Thank you very much for helping me fill in these gaps.
Best wishes

Could anyone please lookup my 5 x gt grandmother in 1841 in Hook Norton and her daughter also in Hook Norton.

They are:

Hannah Castle aged 70 plus (probably 76) born Oxfordshire
(She was the wife or widow of John Castle)

Dinah Durrant, wife of James Durrant,  aged about 40 also born Oxfordshire

I have found Hannah Castle 10 years later in 1851.

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you very much GeoffP.   I have looked for a marriage for the Naylors without success.  It seems this may be the couple I need and the son will be the one who appears with Annie in 1881.  This was a brick wall, so thanks a million.  Chris65

Tati thank you.  Yes it looks like mine.  Hannah had a son, John Castle, and he would have been about 54,  your help is very much appreciated.   It will help fill in a few gaps.  Hooray!  Chris 65

Could anyone please check the 1891 census for Northowram for Annie NAYLOR also known as Ann(e) ROBINSON aged 68 estimated.

In 1881 (10 years earlier) she was at 2 Havelock St, Northowram, aged 58, with daughter Maria Robinson, 38, Son James B (or R) Naylor 25 and A Clegg Robinson, grandson 15.

I have this lady on the other census returns and think she may have been still alive in 1891.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Could anyone please check Hook Norton 1851 census for my 6 x gt grandmother, Hannah CASTLE.  She died July 1851 at Hook  Norton aged about 85 so should appear on the census.

Would also like to find Caroline EMBRA who was the informant on the death certificate - she may be a relative.

Any help greatly appreciated.
