Thank you Forfarian for your reply.

TC and CF share 38 cM so distantly related.

I have the marriage details of Mary Campbell Fisher to John Moore and also to Malcolm Howie ages at marriages differ.

I understand what you say that the matches could be from the mothers side. I guess a lot more researching and building of trees is going to be the only way to see where Michael McBlane matches with TC and CF

Ayrshire / Mary Fisher mystery 1831 to 1921

Michael McBlane who died 2023 shares 141 cms with CF and 118 with TC. Ancestry shows them as his 2nd cousins 1st removed. I think this means that CF and TC share GG Grandparents. On that basis their common GG Grandparent seems to be Mary Campbell Fisher born 29 Aug 1838 Tarbolton, Ayrshire Scotland parents shown as Robert Fisher and Anne Wallace. She married John Moore widower in 1866 giving her age as 25 spinster (DOB 1831?) cenus records from 1841 to 1891 seems to confirm this year of birth

Michael McBlane was born New York 1956. GG Grandmother he had a tree with Mary Fisher born 1831 County Antrim Ireland she married Alexander McBlane in 1857 Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland both widows, Mary's age 26 ( DOB 1831?)Census records from to 1921 seem to confirm this. Her parents shown as Robert Fisher and Margaret Bingham. I haven't found a previous marriage for Mary. In 1887 she married Malcolm Graham Howie giving age as 44 (DOB 1843?).

If these are two different Mary Fisher's  would the DNA matches to CF and TC be incorrect?

Any help would be appreciated.

George was born 1899. he and wife Helen Lang Daly surname (Wright) had a daughter also called Helen born 1923, a son Jack born 1925 died 1931 and another son who I presume is the one who witnessed the death of his father. I can't find him on Scotlandspeople and the death cert just shows an initial which could be W,N or M surname Moore.

I have the death cert. of George Moore who died 5 September 1978 address at the time was 16 Shandwick Street. The death was registered by his son but I have no idea who he was and signature is illegible, his address was shown as 47 Pinkerton Avenue Rutherglen.

I live in England so unable to visit in person and the Archivist there does not have the resouces to look up for me.I would be ever so grateful if someone could help me with a look up for this address 47 Pinkerton Avenue Rutherglen circa 6 September 1978 at the Glasgow City Archives and confirm who was living there at the time.

kind regards
dinkey

George Clark Moore was the son of John/Jack Moore born 1901 and Ellison Stewart

Yes George and Helen were at 19 Bogany Terrace 1960 to 62.
47 Pinkerton Terrace was the address of the informant
The informant at Helen's death in 1991 was her grandson William Shaw the son of her and George's daughter Helen.
