Gloucestershire / Street family of Bristol
« on: Saturday 18 October 08 10:43 BST (UK)  »
My 4x gt grandfather was Richard Street, he was born about 1750 in Bristol. He married Mary Penny and had 5 children; Richard, William S, Stephen, Mary and James.
I think William S married Ann Cullimore, and i know that James married Ruth Highman as they were my 3x gt grandparents.
James and Ruth had 8 children; Eliza, Henry, James, Matilda, John, Mary Ann, William John and George.
Eliza married an unknown Jones, Henry married Jane Crane, Matilda married Thomas Whitling, William John married Mary Ann ??, and George married Elizabeth Bushell (they were my gt gt grandparents).

Does anyone out there have any connection to these people?

Cathy

Thank you for that Nanny Jan. I had in fact just found that birth registration for Arthur. The possible sibling births you found tie in with a 1901 census registration I found, how I wish Arthur was born at the beginning of 1901 and not the end!

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Sinkins

Does anyone have a connection with the Sinkins family of Shoreditch London in the early 1900's? I am especially looking for an Arthur Frederick Sinkins who was born on the 10th or 11th of November 1901. He married a lady called Mary Madeline (surname unknown). I think that Arthur was one of nine children none of who's names are known as yet neither is the birth order. I would dearly like to find out who his parents were and his siblings.
Can anyone help....Please.

I am trying to find out some more information about a William Risdale.
All I know about him is that he trained as a vet in York Barracks. He was serving as a vet in the 21st lancers at Dublin Barracks where his son William Edward was born in 1887. William Edward married Lilian Agnes Bowskill in 1918 in Mansfield, Notts.
Does anyone out there know how and from where I can find out any more information about him and his army career?
Thankyou.

Hi, there,
I too have Austin's in Lilleshall, I have Mary's and James but with different dates to yours! you are right though, with the same names being used all the time it does get very confusing.
