I'm the "coram"  who posted a few years back.  I've changed my e-mail so I'm starting from scratch.  I don't know if anyone is still following this topic, but I've come up with some information on William (born 1793) Crane and his wife Isabella McComb who were linen weavers at Quilly.  The name Quilly does seem to come up when anyone mentions Cranes.  Was it a village?  What is in the area now?
