Oxfordshire Completed Look Up Requests / Re: 1841/51 Census - Hudson
« on: Tuesday 11 March 08 23:23 GMT (UK)  »
Suzard,

Many thanks for your help.  This fits with other information that I have.  It would appear that Richard moved back to Flitwick, Beds sometime between 1820, when his son William was born in Caulcott, and the 1841 Census information that you have provided.

You've given me a lot of names to chase down!...thanks again..

Oxfordshire Completed Look Up Requests / 1841/51 Census - Hudson - COMPLETE
« on: Monday 10 March 08 23:49 GMT (UK)  »
I'm seeking information in the 1841/51 Census on the Hudson brothers in the Caulcott or Lower & Upper Heyford villages.

I already have my gggrandfather Thomas in 1841 in Caulcott...he was buried in Lower Heyford in 1849.

I also have his brother Richard in Bedfordshire in 1851....though he had a son William born in Caulcott in 1820.  So Richard may have been in Caulcott in 1841.

There is also a brother Arter (Arthur) who appears as the father of Susannah, baptised in Lower Heyford in 1830, John in 1832, Ellen in 1835 and Charlotte in 1838....I don't know whether he is still in Caulcott / the Heyfords in 1841/51.

In summary, any news of Richard and Arthur Hudson would be much appreciated.

Would someone be kind enough to look up the household of Edwin Banfield of Fulham in the 1861/71 census.

I have the information from the earlier 1841/51 census, but I would be interested to learn whether Edwin was more precise about his place of birth than in the 1851 census, where it was indicated as "London".

He would have been 55 in the 1861 census and his wife, Sarah, would have been 54.

The address in the 1851 census was "3 Munder Terrace, Fulham".

The 1861/71 census are the only possibilities, since Edwin died in 1874.

Would someone be kind enough to look up the household of my ggggrandfather Thomas Butler in Upper Heyford in the 1851 Census.

He would have been around 74 years old at the time of the census and the name of his wife was Catherine.

I'm particularly interested in their place of birth.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / BANFIELD 1851/61 Census - Fulham
« on: Wednesday 31 January 07 00:25 GMT (UK)  »
Would someone be kind enough to verify the Banfield household of Fulham in the 1851/61 Census.

Head of household would be Edwin, born <1806> probably in London.  Wife is Sarah, born <1807> in Bermondsey.

There should be a son, Joseph Samuel Banfield, born 1843.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Can anyone help me find the marriage of John Watts and Ann (maiden name unknown) in Clerkenwell around 1800.

The location and date are based on the baptism of their daughter, Sarah, at Clerkenwell in 1808.

Any information would be much appreciated.
