Hampshire & IOW Lookup Requests / Re: TRODD Warblington/Hursley
« on: Sunday 08 January 06 13:22 GMT (UK) »I am trying to find the marriage of John and Martha TRODD circa 1795.
The only possible marriage on IGI is Warblington in 10 April 1812 - John TROD and Martha CATCHELER.
However I have come to believe this could be a second marriage as there is a marriage of a John TRODD to a Sarah PINK 22 May 1794 in Hursley.
Does anyone have records for either parish to check for any other details, in particular, to see if John who married in 1812 was a widower and whether the John in 1794 gives a parish of origin
many thanks

Bearkat,
Do you have all of the following? All born in Weston and all found on the 1901 Census. Joseph born 1811 & Richard born 1837 both recorded at 25 Weston Rd. Have only names and birth dates, some occupations if you need them.
Joseph b: 1811. Joseph b: 1814 (mrrd Sarah). Charles b: 1835. George b: 1836. Richard b: 1837. Frank b:1844. Edward b: 1846. Emma b: 1847. James b: 1852. Elizabeth b:1853. Edwin b: 1872. Henrietta b: 1879. Harry b:1881. Amy b: 1883. Ada b: 1884 and Harold b: 1886.
Do not have how each is related as at the time of searching expenditure went mainly into definate West Meon connections. However, similarity of names here has me thinking that they do connect at some point!
Also have many listings for Warblington and a couple for Hursley.
