Hi there, I stumbled over some people on Ancestry while doing my family tree (Sweatman) and found various names (Newton, Lutey, James, Phillips, etc and Eddy. They seemed to live around St Just, Cornwall, also Zennor, Bosigran, Madron and Penzance in 1700s and 1800s. I haven't found connections to my tree yet (someone mentioned Clarke/Gould, I have some of those - maybe a clue) but I live in Cornwall so may go and have a look. Other names in the tree were Rowe, Hocking (classic Cornish names), Hosking (Wales), matthews, Phillips. Pls get in touch if looking for Eddy. Also worth looking up "Bosigran Castle" as Borlase family leased land to Eddy family.

Hi there,
I have a couple of pictures of her as she is my direct ancestor down the Aldworth line, as her brothers died in battle, she left her younger son Doneraile and elder son Newmarket where my grandmother was born.

Recently, my cousins sent round an amazing story about my great great grandfather who fell in love with Mary Ryan and had a son Thomas. They were sent to New Zealand and Thomas went on to play with first All Blacks, Married a Maori and became quite a good artist. This has been kept secret from the last 3 generations and now we're all reunited on Facebook with fourth cousins in NZ.

That picture is of Elisabeth Aldworth, born in 1690 and died aged 80 in 1770 and they found her in a lead coffin (i think, can't remember) under St Finbarr's cathedra in Cork when it was rebuilt (they told me when I visited).

Best regards
Sophie
