Hi all I'm new to this, so please excuse my ignorance.

I was wondering if anyone has any information on the Battsons of Upminster. my Nan was Margaret Eleanor Battson, who married a Albert Edward Griffin. All I know about my nans parents is they were Church wardens at St Marys South Ruislip - Ernest Battson and Elsie May (maiden name Drew) didn't know anything about what they did.

I believe but not sure that Ernest Battsons Father was Ernest William Battson and his wife was Alice Eleanor (maiden name spooner I think.)

then I think my great great great grandfathers name was Edwin Battson, his father was Isreal Walter Battson. I think.  but I don't have dates etc was wondering if anyone had info on what they did etc, any info would be great.

I think Edwin Battson was a pork butcher and diary farmer not sure if this is one and the same, I think this because I have a copy of a will with white writing written on black paper.

can anyone tell me more. fingers crossed
