Yes! I would like to be involved in anything that would help me on my search- plus I love finding new cousins. I had my DNA done through Ancestry so I'm not sure how to compare those results with anything outside of that site. I have to admit I'm some what of a novice at the genealogy thing. I checked out the Mayo page- love it! Fascinating to see the Gaughans that still live there! I bet our DNA would be a match!

WOW- I checked my DNA matches for the Conboy name and I have quite a few matches - so I think this could be a really good lead for me! I also noticed that Johns son was named James as well as their daughter Barbara- I feel like I need to explore the records for Hugh Hart in Sligo to see if this was possibly James's father too! Thanks again for your help!

That's awesome! Thanks for all the leads! I have run across John O'Hart in my research as he would probably be of the generation prior to my James but I can't find anything on his family or any connection links to James or Barbara. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for looking- I just feel like I am at a dead end! Unfortunately all of my older relatives have passed away and we never talked about it enough to know if Owen had other siblings. Like you said there is a huge gap between Owen and Annies ages so I'm guessing there were a few but I don't know if they survived or made the journey to America.

Hi, I am searching for any information on my 2x great grand parents Barbara Gaughan and James Hart born around 1840 in County Mayo. There Children immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1880 but I can't find any records that James and Barbara ever lived here. If anyone has run across anything in their research about James Hart or Barbara Gaughan I would really appreciate a share!! Thanks

Can you tell us the children's names and ages, it might be possible to find the children's births or baptisms and hopefully work back to their parents marriage.

Owen Hart Born 1863 Ireland- Died July 9,1915 In Pittsburgh PA
Annie Hart Born 1973 Ireland- Died 1935 in Pittsburgh PA
I am not sure if there were other siblings, I only found Annie through searching death certificates and I realized that my Grandmother had signed it. Thanks so much for the assistance!
