She died in 1871 with an age recorded as 87. The marriage register does not give an age.
1851 census has her as born 1786. 1861 as 1785.

Interesting thought since her husband was only 19 when they married. Perhaps spinster is an error in the register !

All I want for Christmas is a Baptism.

According to Censii Louisa Powell was born in Trowbridge,Wiltshire in 1784. In 1813 she married William Gale in Esher, Surrey.

Louisa died in Thames Ditton,Surrey in 1871.

Hi,

Great photo sent to me from a new contact in France. Her line  moved there in about 1911 from Surrey and  she has produced some great photos which had names on them. This one doesn`t so an idea of date would be great.

Hi,I am trying to identify this lad and  a date would help enormously. All we know is that his name was Georgie and he fell through an icy pond and subsequently died of pneumonia. He is related to a friend of mine. I anticipate checking Thames Ditton burial registers after getting an idea of date from you good people. Thanks.
