Interested in their ancestries, Gateshead family history is clearer than Norfolk/Suffolk history. Would like to develop Norfolk/Suffolk genealogy.

Hello,
I am looking for information regarding a William Barnaby of Metfield, Suffolk 1880 and Charlotte Pratt of Stalham, Norfolk 1881 - who both moved to Gateshead and married in 1906.Would be interested in any relatives of these individuals and possible answers as to why they moved to Gateshead?
Perhaps anyone knows if Barnaby/Pratt are still common names in Suffolk and Norfolk?

Hello,
My mother's father was Horatio Barnaby, son of Charlotte Barnaby and one of a number of brothers. His father died in the gas yards in Gateshead and his mother re-married a James Beattie.
I do believe we are related. I would love any information regarding the Barnaby side of the family, we too know of James Beattie as a bit of a brute but also that Charlotte had a bit of a soft spot for her son Horatio (my grandfather) who was born with polio leading to slight disfigurement. My mother has always wondered about the Norfolk aspect of her family, but also was told Charlotte Pratt had lived in London also? I would love any information that you have regarding their family history.
