Hello!
I have just started researching my family history and I've come to a dead end whilst searching for my grandfather's birth record. His name is Henry (sometimes known as Harry) Morrison McCord and we think he was born in March 1920 in Holytown, Lanarkshire. His parents could be John McCord and Helen Morrison. Does anybody have any information on this? Marriage? Births? Addresses? Census records? Any help would be great. They also had several other children: Douglas, Elizabeth, Bill (William?), Jimmy (James?), Jean, May, and John; we are unsure of birth years.
