Dear Ladyissy

My great grandfather was Walter Shanks  born in Ireland 1865,  son of James Walter Shanks and Mary Barr.  Not sure if this is the relative you are looking for.  Walter Shanks went to South Africa in the late 1800's and died there.  If this sounds correct to you please let me know as I have all the family information.
