Hi,

Basically I know up to Augustine Smithers (1710-1785) who married Mary Knot :)

My lineage is as follows 

  • me
  • Andrew Smithers
  • Noel Thomas Smithers
  • William Cassel Smithers
  • William Smithers 
  • Alfred Thomas Smithers (1843-1933) Who marrried Sarah A Goldsmith
From there i continue to Augustine Smithers but i also go on to find relatives of Sarah A Goldsmith. I have gone so far as her g grandfather Edward Goldsmith (1762-1838).
I am an ancestor through his son Jarman Goldsmith, who i know very little information about. Only that he was in prison for 8 months for theft. He also married Francis Betts Anderton, who i further dont know anything about.

Would you be able to shed some light on these people, and also give me information on who Augustines parents could be? :)

Any help will be very much appreciated

My name is Daniella Smithers,

My ggg grandfather is Alfred Thomas Smithers, i believe to be your profile picture :) I am currently researching the Smithers line and the Goldsmith line and any information would be fantastic!
I also only have the one picture of Alfred and none of his family, it would be lovely to see other photos from that side of the family!
